What a sweet note to kick off Women’s International Month.

Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo is the first Nigerian female pilot to acquire a position at Qatar Airways and that’s not all, she’s also the first Nigerian female pilot taking over the skies on Qatar’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner Aircraft.

Adeola, who currently resides in Florida with her husband, took to social media sharing a picture from her beginning days at Sunrise Aviation’s Private Pivot ground school class.

Adeola Ogunmola Sowemimo joins the same league with Kenya’s Capt Irene Koki, Ethiopia’s Capt Amsale Gulau and a few other African women who fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
