My Favorite Kiddie Spots in Accra, Ghana!
I am always getting questions from soon-to-be mamas, new mamas and returnees on cute spots to take their kids after school or on the weekends in Accra, Ghana and let me tell you, there are a few fun spots that your son/daughter will definitely enjoy.
Find below FIVE kid friendly attractions in Accra:
Cheeky Monkey is located in Asylum Down. This is where my son goes for swimming lessons. They provide parent and baby swimming lessons, after school activities, holiday camps, playgroups, birthday parties and much more. I love, love, love their themed holiday parties throughout the years such as Easter egg hunt, Trick or Treating, etc. The owners are very warm, welcoming and professional and their team are amazing with kids.

Glorika Early Learning Center in East Legon. Before Aaron started school I found Glorika Early Learning Center. First of all, I loved the variety of books and learning resources they provide as i’ve been an avid reader with Aaron since he was born. I then came to find out that you can drop of your children full-time, part-time or as needed which makes life so convenient. They also have summer camp and themed holiday parties.

Splash & Play Ghana in Airport Residential. Now, this is the first and only waterpark for kids in Ghana. I have yet to take Aaron there but it’s on my list because i’ve heard mostly positive feedback from other mom’s who have taken their kids there. I saw on social media, people were questioning the price, which is 120GHC. I see it as, you take your kids as you can. Once a month, twice a month, once a year, to each his own. Personally, i’m very excited about Splash & Play and I know Aaron is too.

Milk Box Cafe in Labone. Now, Milk Box isn’t specifically a kiddi'e’s spot, it’s more like, everyone’s spot and oh, I love, I mean Aaron loves Milk Box. This desert cafe opened last weekend and of course, I couldn’t wait for Aaron and I(cough, cough) to try it. The ambiance was very New York, which everybody knows I will always love. The owner and staff were super friendly. The food. The food. I ordered a cheesecake, ham & cheese sandwich, a cupcake, hibiscus and peach iced tea. Oh, and Aaron grabbed these marshmallow-like melt in your mouth desert. OMG, everything was mouthwatering. I left satisfied and when all was said and done, Aaron wanted more. LOL!

Kidde Ground at A&C Mall. I would recommend here before going into the mall. It’s cute, they have everything from bouncy castles to a kiddie train ride. There are patrons their to watch your kids if you need to go grocery shopping in peace (LOL) but I never leave Aaron unattended.

As stated previously, these are just a few of my favorite spots for kids. There are many more that I will definitely be sharing more over the next few months especially as we get closer to the summer holidays. It’s very, very, very important to keep your kids busy when they are out of school.
